Students now have the opportunity to study composition and/or orchestration with Jett outside of a university setting. Lessons are offered via Zoom, FaceTime, and Skype. (Thus far, Zoom has proven the most reliable.)

$100 per hour, $400 for a 5 pack

$60 per half hour, $250 for a 5 pack

$1050 for a semester (15 one hour lessons)

$1800 for two semesters (30 one hour lessons)

It is recommended that students submit scores before the lesson in an agreed-upon format. This could be a Finale, Dorico, or StaffPad file. Musescore and Notion are also options. Submitting in DAW format is rather problematic, though we can explore the option. (Jett mostly only uses Logic Pro.) Jett is a classically trained musician. That means he reads music. You will get the most out of Jett and your lesson by providing your work in notation, preferably with playback. (StaffPad is probably the best and most remarkable product on the market at present for students.)

All prospective composition students must submit a score/sound file to be considered. Contact us for instructions about how to submit your application.
