Jett Hitt is the composer of Yellowstone for Violin and Orchestra and the former owner and operator of Yellowstone Wilderness Outfitters. In 2017, he and his wife Carrie retired to live with Cinch, an Australian Shepherd, and Rufus, a redbone coonhound, on a farm in the Ozark Mountains. They maintain two herds of bison and a few horses and mules on 350 acres. In 2011, Jett and Carrie married in a vision quest circle on horseback in Yellowstone (pictured here because, as weddings go, it was rather unusual).
