Jett Hitt is the composer of Yellowstone for Violin and Orchestra and the former owner and operator of Yellowstone Wilderness Outfitters. In 2017, he and his wife Carrie retired to live with Cinch, their Australian Shepherd, on a farm in the Ozark Mountains. They maintain a herd of 75 bison and a few horses and mules on 350 acres. In 2011, Jett and Carrie married in a vision quest circle on horseback in Yellowstone.
